Life's travels are sometimes filled with ups and downs
Affecting emotions, mood swings, smiles, tears and frowns
Assistance- materialize, thrive at your own pace
Here to help pave the way, employees that work at Grace
Listen, support and help set goals
For you along the way
A road map to find Assurance
Tomorrow's a better today
I believe that a better tomorrow starts with the steps we take today. I believe that it all starts with a positive disposition. I am dedicated and committed to helping individuals to develop a positive mindset necessary to make, obtain and achieve attainable goals. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is non-judgmental, where clients can feel safe, comfortable and supported.
My work is geared towards assisting adolescents and adults with various concerns that may be hindering their social and emotional wellness. Some of these concerns include social relationships, low self-esteem, stress, depression and anxiety. Having experienced the loss of a loved one, I know how difficult the traveled road can be. Therefore, I am also dedicated to assisting individuals, working through grief and loss. Although my specialty is working with students, I have worked with ages across the life span: elementary, middle & senior high, college students, young adults and clients approaching golden years. Several therapeutic techniques may be used depending on individual cases. However, the techniques that I am most inclined to utilize are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, and the Strength-Based approach.
